Two Full Days of Devotion, Joy & Community

Traditional morning worship with mantras, offerings, and pushpanjali. All devotees are welcome to participate.
📍 Main HallKids ages 4–16 compete in themed art challenges celebrating Durga Puja mythology. Prizes, medals, and certificates for all participants.
📍 Foyer & LobbyBrowse traditional sarees, jewelry, sindoor, artisan crafts, clothing, and festive goods from vendors across the Indian subcontinent.
📍 Ground FloorLuchi, alur dom, misti doi, rosogolla, chutney, and more. Taste Bengal in New Jersey.
📍 Dining HallWatch master performers demonstrate the sacred incense-lamp dance. Community participation welcome during designated segments.
📍 Main StageOpening night concert featuring Iman Chakraborty — an unforgettable evening of Rabindra Sangeet, Bengali folk, and contemporary music.
📍 Main AuditoriumCollective evening prayer and aarti ceremony. Day one concludes with the Goddess's blessing.
📍 Main HallThe final day's morning worship — devotees offer flowers to the Goddess in a deeply moving collective ceremony. Sindoor offerings for married women.
📍 Main HallPerform in dance, music, drama, or spoken word. Adult and children's categories. Cash prizes and trophies for winners.
📍 Main AuditoriumFinal day of shopping. Vendors often offer special prices. Don't miss the handloom sarees and handcrafted jewelry.
📍 Ground FloorSacred food offered to the Goddess and shared with all — khichuri, labra, payesh, chutney, sandesh. The act of shared bhog dissolves all boundaries.
📍 Dining HallMarried women apply vermilion to the Goddess and to each other in this beautiful, joyful, and deeply emotional Bengali tradition. The farewell begins.
📍 Main HallSourendro–Soumyojit close UTSOV 2026 in a night of Bengali classics, Rabindra Sangeet, and timeless folk traditions that you will carry in your heart forever.
📍 Main AuditoriumFinal aarti, blessings, and the emotional farewell to Maa Durga. Seek the elders' blessings. Until next year — Asche Bochor Abar Hobe.

Jo Ann Magistro Performing Arts Center, East Brunswick, New Jersey. Ample free parking is available at the venue. The center is also accessible via public transport.
There is no strict dress code, but many attendees dress in traditional Indian attire — sarees, salwar kameez, kurtas. On Sunday, we encourage white with red borders (lal-paar sada saree) to honor the sacred tradition of Sindoor Khela.
Bhog prasad (sacred communal food) is included for all pass holders. Additional food is available for purchase from vendors throughout both days. Dinner options will also be available — these can be selected during registration (ticketing fees apply). We have a full Bengali menu including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Absolutely yes! UTSOV is a community celebration welcoming everyone regardless of background, faith, or heritage. Durga Puja is about joy, art, community, and the triumph of good over evil — a message for all of humanity. Come as you are.
Yes — ample free parking is available at Jo Ann Magistro Performing Arts Center, 200 Rues Lane, East Brunswick, NJ 08816. No reservation is needed. We do encourage carpooling for the evening concert sessions as the venue fills up. The venue is also accessible via NJ Transit.
