Questions?

Frequently Asked

Where is the event held?

Jo Ann Magistro Performing Arts Center, East Brunswick, New Jersey. Ample free parking is available at the venue. The center is also accessible via public transport.

What is the dress code?

There is no strict dress code, but many attendees dress in traditional Indian attire — sarees, salwar kameez, kurtas. On Sunday, we encourage white with red borders (lal-paar sada saree) to honor the sacred tradition of Sindoor Khela.

Is food included in the ticket price?

Bhog prasad (sacred communal food) is included for all pass holders. Additional food is available for purchase from vendors throughout both days. Dinner options will also be available — these can be selected during registration (ticketing fees apply). We have a full Bengali menu including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Can non-Bengalis / non-Hindus attend?

Absolutely yes! UTSOV is a community celebration welcoming everyone regardless of background, faith, or heritage. Durga Puja is about joy, art, community, and the triumph of good over evil — a message for all of humanity. Come as you are.

Is there enough parking available?

Yes — ample free parking is available at Jo Ann Magistro Performing Arts Center, 200 Rues Lane, East Brunswick, NJ 08816. No reservation is needed. We do encourage carpooling for the evening concert sessions as the venue fills up. The venue is also accessible via NJ Transit.

Talent show and art competition registrations open in September 2026. Visit our contact page to sign up for updates, or email utsov@utsov.org. Family pass holders get automatic priority registration.
